Workforce Development

The Cyber Security Talent Accelerator addresses the shortage of cyber security skills in NSW. This shortage is acute and is affecting Government institutions and industry. Working with TAFEs and universities the NSW Cyber Security Innovation Node (NSWCSIN) is helping to ensure the state is producing graduates who can address industry-defined skills gaps.

The Talent Accelerator includes a criteria cognitive aptitude test (CCAT) – a diagnostic tool to help organisations identify skills and competencies for their new and existing cyber security workers.  It also encompasses a Cyber STEM program and an Ambassador program connecting cyber security professionals and early-career graduates with high school students in NSW.
